Tea Party Musing.

A quick observation of the left's unraveling over the tea party.  Why is it okay for the left to protest and not average, American taxpayers who are struggling to keep the country that they love?  When the Pink Brigade protested against the War,  they got to have their say.  When the 9/11 Truthers wanted to and still do, blame President Bush for the attacks on that fateful day,  they are allowed to have their say.  However,  grandmothers, stay at home moms,  conservatives and others must remain silent because the liberals do not agree with their views.  When did that become public norm?
Yesterday,  at the Tea Party Express Rally in Troy, Michigan, there were Americans from every walk of life there to protest what can only be called the beginning of the end of American's Rights.  There were old, young,  white collar and blue collar workers standing together taking a stand against their government.  One could describe it as a community effort, or dare it be said out loud, a community organizing together to bring about positive change.  It may come to a surprise to the President, but he has inspired many  people to do what he has done for years,  protest and change the laws that do not benefit you or your community. The only difference here,  these people are not looking for the handouts.  Instead, these people are looking to smack the hand that are reaching into their pockets to take away their hard earned dollars.
Whatever the President or Congress wants to call their plan,  Healthcare or Insurance Reform, it still comes out as another layer of government intruding on the private citizen.   There are no logical plans on  how the government is going to pay for this much less run the program.  It's a  knee jerk reaction to a small number of the populations who claim that they are victims of the health care industry.  The true victims of  the healthcare industry?  The Consumer.  For every person who walks into the Emergency room, demands treatment and  can not pay the bill , there is another patient who is walking out the emergency room with a bill  over thousands of dollars, and pays for it, either with aid for Health Insurance or a savings account. Both patients are treated,  yet one pays for both of them.   This is how hospitals cover the costs of taking care of patients.  Raise the prices hoping that one person can pay  in order to break even for the ones who can't.   Is it fair?  No, but taking care of patients takes a lot of money.   Someone has to pay for it.
Where does this vicious circle end?  Common sense tells us that the only person who truly cares for our well being is ourselves and loved ones.  Insurance companies do not care about the health of their clients,  there is always the bottom line to be more concerned about.  If these companies do not create a profit, the shareholders will not longer invest in the company.  Does this make all Insurance companies bad?  No, they are providing a service.  It is after all a business that needs to turn a profit in order to stay afloat.   For those who are pro-Obamacare, it would be nice if they would consider one question.  If the Insurance companies have to worry about the bottom line, why wouldn't a government run system have to worry about the same bottom line?  The answer to that question is quite obvious.  They do have to worry about the bottom line, which logically indicates that they will use  tactics that the Health Insurance companies are being demonized for now.  What makes this worse, is once the Government seizes control over healthcare,  consumers will be forced to have it whether they want it or not, and there will be no recourse to demand better performance.  When a company like Blue Cross messes up,  a consumer has a right shop around to  another company.  This is called consumer options and control.   When the government messes up,  what options will the consumers have?  Simple, none.
This all adds up to one dirty little secret that liberals don't want the rest of us to know.  The best way to control a group is by taking away their security.  Raising taxes on all fronts,  energy,  health,  food, and recreation, reduces the spending power and options that Americans have.  Once the populations can not afford any of these items,  they turn to help from the source that has all the money and power.  The Government.   The Cap and Trade, Healthcare and Bailouts are just the beginning of the biggest grab of control by our Government.  It's time for conservatives to start their own recycle and save the world program.   Let's recycle every representative and Senator, all the way up to the President, and start over.   This government needs to have the garbage thrown out.   It's time to return to traditional, conservative values that have never failed this country.  It's time to end the Obamination of our country.

Seven Signs That The Liberals Don't Care and Are Not Listening

If there is any doubt that the democrats are not listening to their constituents, there is no need to look any further than the headlines in papers.  President Obama has an agenda and by hook or crook, he's going to  get it passed.  It does not matter that the voters do not want his agenda,  the President and his party, will ram it through anyways.  The Little People will have to take it and be grateful for their supreme leader.  The voices are getting louder in the United States.  These voices asking questions and demanding answers.  Truthful answers.   Unfortunately,  Washington liberals don't care and are not listening.
Seven signs of the liberals refusal to listen to voters are easy enough to spot.  They are everywhere and they are not buried deep.    The proof is the action and reaction to the public.  As the voters are starting to ask more questions about Healthcare reform,  the liberal elitists are looking shell shocked.  For them it is hard to believe that anyone would question their wisdom or intentions.  This is the opportunity that they have been waiting for and yet,  the voters are not going along with their plan.  Behind closed doors, they  scheme, draft legislation and pat themselves on the back.  A person's health is a very personal matter.  It is a matter of life and death.   Regardless of how voters feel about healthcare,  the President, the Senate and Congress are looking for ways to ram legislation through that would not only ruin healthcare in America, but would take away privacy, freedom and  health from every single American. Why is the government getting involved in the most personal aspects of  a person's life? The answer is obvious,  it's all about control.
This was to be the transparent government.  This was to be the time that all doors were open  and Americans could finally see what is truly going on in the day to day activities in Washington.  In recent memory,  there does not seem to be so many doors slammed shut in Washington.  Secret deals, exclusion of Republicans, and amendments to bills passing in the middle of the night does not seem like a Republic government.  it is more akin to communism, marxist and socialism all wrapped into one neat package. The irony to all of this is that terrorists knew more about legal wiring tapping during the Bush Administration then Americans know about what is in the Cap and Trade Bill and Healthcare reform combined.
The liberals are much to busy to worry about financial matters.  My goodness,  their plate is overflowing with pet projects which have not been dealt with in the past eight years.  Ask the average citizen what is more important to them having a job or the environment?  Common sense answer would be having a job.   The liberal answer, is saving the planet, of course.   Here is the case again,  where the government liberals steps into every home in America to make sure they have energy efficient lights. Carbon foot prints is just another way of describing humans as the monsters who destroyed earth.  It has gotten so ridiculous that one has to ask how long will be before we are all living in an Amish Paradise?
Perhaps it would be better for the liberals to think of other things besides the financial mess.  Whenever they do think of solutions for the economy,  the first words out of their mouths are TAX.   Taxes are a punishment on achievement, period.  Not all voters can be fooled that taxes raised on the rich will only effect the wealthy.  The ugly truth behind that lie is that when the "rich" are taxed, they stop contributing to the economy.  The economy becomes stagnant.  Without the wealthy buying,  investing, and  creating jobs,  everyone suffers.  In particular,  those whose income fall below the poverty line.  The principal idea behind the Tea Party Movement is  that voters are tired of being taxed at every turn.  Every new program equals a new tax.   Speaker Pelosi's response to the Tea Parties is that it is "astroturf."   Her comments represent what many liberals in congress believe.  Again, they just don't listen.
Liberals love to talk about poll numbers.   Polls are the very life that pulses through their vein.  Or at least it was during the Bush Administration.  Countless times Liberals in congress and in the media would point to the polls as if they were signs from above that he end of times were near because of President Bush's policies.  At this point,  Obama's job approval rating is below 50%, yet the liberals do not seem to be at all concerned.  This is a minor bump in the road for them.  As soon as the Average Joe gets on board with the social agenda, everything will be smooth sailing again.  Or will it?    Obama promised everything and nothing in the same breath during his presidential campaign.   The President is now finding that pretending to be a moderate while holding very liberal views will backfire on him.  Voters who liked Obama in November, still like him but are scratching their heads wondering where is  that moderate candidate that they voted for?  They have been lied too.  No one likes to be mislead.
Sorry seem to be the hardest word to express.  Except for when liberals want to apologize for the countless mistakes that America has made. Yet,  it takes Eastern European countries to remind our President and liberals of what it means to be a trusted ally.  In the matters of foreign policy the current administration has decided to walk away from arms agreement to protect the allies who need it most and kowtow to dictators who would like nothing more than to see America knocked out as a super power.  Liberals don't get the concept that to be strong militarily means that America can defend itself.  One other crucial piece of evidence that the liberals don't get America's greatness,  they refuse to see the good that America has done all over the world.  From helping Europe remain free to sending supplies and equipments to areas struck by natural disasters, America has a proud history of being there when called upon.  Why is the President apologizing for America?
At this time in American History, they have complete power in government, yet they complain that the opposition is killing their agenda.  What to do with the nasty conservative talk shows?   Silence their voices with legislation that would discourage radio stations owners from airing these programs.   Monitor and block the internet of bloggers who express opinions different from the liberal view.  The First Amendment gives every human being the right to speech.  No matter how stealth like the Administration moves on this,  there will be no way to calm the fears of the rest of Americans.  By silencing one portion of the American public,  it allows the government to take one more step towards stripping basic rights from its citizen.  It is squashing freedom at it's core.   Americans won't allow it and should not allow it to happen.  Liberals just don't get it.  The only one who are in love with listening to their rants are themselves.
Liberals are now finding that they are not as loved, popular and adored as they are in their own minds.  The problem with liberalism is that is is by it's own nature,  arrogant,  snobbish and self-serving.   They know better, are better and deserve better.  Well at least that is how they perceive the world.  If Americans every thought that a four year old could do a better job in congress than some elected officials.  Well, this is what a four year old would do in congress.  They will do whatever they want,  and not listen to a single soul about the effects it is reeking on everyone else.  Who cares?  As long as they are happy, nothing else seems to matter to them.

100 Days and counting

The media is going nuts over Obama,  that isn't new, however,  they are looking at this first 100 days in office as if this is there is nothing more that this President needs to accomplish.  Yes, in 100 days the man has been able to tackle all the topics of the day, called in the CEOs from every sector of the economy to lecture then on the greatness of HIS plan and how they must kowtow to him.   He has conferences and break out sessions that produced nothing but more hot air.    Obama has apologized profusely for all the ills that America has done and asked leaders around the world to not blame him for events such as the Bay of Pigs because he was only three years old back then.   Wait folks, that's not all.  In a way that only Obama knows how, he has endorsed the killings of innocents around the world but pledging tax payers dollars to fund abortions,  he has spent more in 100 days than any of his predecessors,  he has made us weaker by revealing national secrets and he has made it a personal vendetta to discredit anything the Bush Administration accomplished.   Whew!  Who knew  that so much could be done in such little time?  This is the moment that all liberals have been dreaming about.  The moment when America ceases to be the land of the free and  the home of the brave to the land of the forlorn and home of the beaten.
Now that the 100 days mark has passed, should the taxpayers dare to ask "What's next?" What should happen next and what will happen are two different realities.  Republicans in Washington need to get a backbone and oppose legislations which stands in the way of personal freedom,  raising taxes and national security.  With Obama's approval rating very high, most Republicans are afraid to buck a popular president.  After all,  2010 is just around he corner, and some of them have campaigns that they need to win. Looking at the polls more closely, it is clear to see that while people like Obama as a person,  his policies do not sit well with most voters. The fact remains that his approval rating is at 68-70%.    If one dares to look back at Bush's first 100 days in office they w ill find  that he Democrats were bold enough to knock down the President even when his approval ratings were good.  As a matter of fact,  Democrats will cut their opponents down to size in good times and in bad.  If Obama's policies are bad for our country then it should be pointed out to the American people without fear of retaliation.  The retaliation is what some Republicans fear and would like to avoid.  Liberals win again.  Freedom of speech is always the first to go.
What will happen next is unfortunate.  Obama and his administration are busy contriving ways of blocking Republican votes on national health care, silencing conservative talk shows and seizing opportunities to gain government ownership of the private sector.  The only transparency of this Administration is that they want it all and they want it now. All of these movements are not baby steps, they are giant leaps into weakening of  the economy,  rights of citizens and free-market system.  Making the argument that these ideals have never worked, is an argument that the left will not engage in because in their view it has worked and will work here. Regardless that the evidence reveals the failures of the left's ideals. If the Republicans will not stand up against the tide of socialism, who will?   The Republican party is desperate for a leader and that person is no where to be found.  The First 100 days is just an appetizers to what will be coming in the next four years.  More government, more taxes and  more of the same liberal lies.
