A Mission To Accept

The Obama Administration continues to spin the truth about the economy and unemployment.  Regardless of where you stand politically, the reality is that the recession is not over, nor will it be over in the near future and the current administration is doing nothing to reverse the downward spiral.  Obama likes to play the game of illusions.  However, even a magician knows that if you stay before your audience for too long,  they find your secrets.  The magic is no longer fascinating.  The truth about lies is that in order to sustain a lie,  it must have a little speck of truth in it in order to keep spinning it into a new story.

November 2009  unemployment is at 10.0%  according to the Bureau of labor Statistics.  What was Obama’s response?  “Let’s have a job summit”  Where the brilliant observation was made that the onus of job creation rests with the private sector.  Wow!  Anyone taking a Economics course in college could have come up with that one.   .  Obama can talk all he likes about where he believes jobs should be created.  The reality that he does not want anyone to know is the number of new employee of the United States government.  In January 2009,   the government added 31, 000 new jobs while the private sector continues to struggle.  More Americans are losing jobs, struggling to make ends meet and the President lectures on job creation.  In an odd way, he is telling the private sector to follow the government lead in hiring new personnel.  However,  the small businesses of America do not have a handy money printing machine that they  can just switch on when the money starts to dry up.  Mr. Obama has proven he not only has one of those nifty machines,  he knows how to turn the switch it on and off.  Come to think of it, it’s almost like a teleprompter.

The nugget of truth in Obama’s statement turns into a lie when his actions reverses the incentives for  small businesses to hire people.  What is the government doing to help the confidence of small businesses to grow?  Nothing.  In fact, they are creating more fear with agendas such as tax and cap,  healthcare reform, and generally trying to spend their way out of a recession.  It is absolute madness, and the American people are starting to see that the man how made the promises of hope and change is quite like the Wizard of  Oz.  If someone pulls back the curtain on the “image” of the President who would be savior, there would stand a human being who isn’t so grand at all. He’s just  someone who wants power and control.

The illusion of grandeur must continue for Obama to achieve this destructive path that America is taking daily. Each time there are new numbers about the economy,  it will be delivered as “it’s not as bad as we thought” or “the unemployment numbers have gone down, but that’s because people have stopped collecting unemployment and  have given up.”  Sooner or later, the lie can not stand on its own.  Obama will have to come up with something to divert the citizen’s attention to some program or handout that might when back his popularity.  With how his numbers are dropping, it better be really spectacular.   Even Obama may have trouble pulling that off.

How long will it be when the proverbial “other shoe” drops and cities start to close down services because property taxes are not being paid?  This economy can no longer be described as a spiral downward.  It would be more accurate to say it is in a free fall.   In all the political commentary, no one has addressed how to stop this administration from the reckless course they are taking.   The only ideas batted about are the elections of 2010 and 2012.  While it is true,  this is a golden opportunity for Republicans to gain seats,  it is more imperative that actions be taken now to stop this nonsense.  When the President of the United States is smug enough to fly over peaceful demonstrators who oppose his healthcare reform  in order to give a speech to admiring fans who accept every word  he says, than it is time to do something immediately.  impeachment is not the answer but finding ways to take away his power is better.

Time to unplug the teleprompter.  With every lie that President Obama spews, the truth has to come out ten times louder.  Controlling the media and news is crucial. The Mainstream Media has shown to often who they are siding with and what information will be doled out to their audience.  As educated citizens, it is important to remember Regains words, “Trust but verify.”  Read, listen to every point of view, and verify the sources.  It is only then  that being armed with the truth will the lies lose  their effect on Americans.  It also gives the citizens the confidence to fight back and say “NO.” to ridiculous spending, taxes and programs.

The Internet is a wonderful tool to put the information out into the hands of average citizens.  The real test of getting information out is the use of other media, such as television, radio and print.  Isn’t it amazing that conservative books are selling like hot cakes now?  How about Fox News?   It really is not a big surprise that their ratings top all the other cable news shows.  The phenomenon of talk radio began in the 80’s when everyone thought it was a stupid venture.  Why does congress want to shut the airwaves down with the Fairness Doctrine?  Truth is the antidote to the cancer of lies.

It’s time to take up the mighty pen to stab out the monster of economic mess that Americans are experiencing.  While it is true, not everyone can have a best selling book, do a news show or talk on the radio.  However, writing to Representatives and Senators is a start in being heard.  Talk to neighbors, family members or anyone who wants to engage in meaningful debate.  It is in the arena of ideas that problems are faced and  sometimes fixed.  The shame of being conservative should be over and should anyone need a course on how to be openly conservative,  listen to Hannity, Beck, Levin and Limbaugh.

It’s also  time to teach Democrats that citizens don’t need  the government to rescue them.  However,  it is the government that will need citizens to come to the rescue to save the country.  First mission,  stop the spending.  Second mission, stimulate the economy the right way.  Third mission,  elect  people who are worthy of the voters trust.  Anyone game?

Corporate greed versus Government Greed

Corporate greed is bad.  It is everywhere and once Americans notice it, all companies must be scrutinized, investigated, taxed and bullied out of existence.  At least that is the picture that the media often presents when reporting on the big bad companies.  To hear them belly ache and complain about corporations, CEO's and capitalism one would think that  Average Joe is suffering needlessly under the feet of the Three Big C's.   Lucky for Average Joe,  One Big Government is bigger, bolder and bossier.  The type of government that squashes ingenuity, hope and prosperity.  Isn't Average Joe lucky to have One Big Government as a friend?  Truth of the matter is, Average Joe is being told a lie and the proof is in One Big  Government's greedy spending.  If it weren't so sad, it would be comical.
An excellent source to refer to for tracking government waste is Citizens Against Government Waste, a nonpartisan group which tracks the spending of the Government.  Their website is filled with interesting facts and alerts to the taxpayers of how money is being wasted in government.  It is truly a treasure trove of accurate facts.  The 2009 Pig Book Summery details how greedy government is when they collect taxes and spend it on frivolous things.  It's isn't called Pig book for nothing it is filled with pork.  This book would make the Average Joe hope to see the Big Bad Wolf come along and not only ruin all the homes of the little piggies but huff away all the pet projects that have fed the little piggies' appetite.  Mich
One example of how frivolous the spending is comes from Senator Carl Levin, (D-Michigan), and his pals  Senator Debbie Stabenow (D- Michigan.  Michigan voters pronounce her name as  Senator Stab-me-now) and  House appropriator Carolyn Kilpatrick (D-Michigan and also the former Detroit Mayor, Kwame's mother) , who spent $951,500 for downtown Detroit energy efficient street lighting.  Yes,  that 's right.  Detroit residents need better street lighting to see what a mess the City Council has done to the city, not to mention what a marvelous job Governor Granholm has done to the rest of the state.  For the sake of argument, the Democrats could argue that Detroit really needed to update the lighting so that the City saves money on lighting.  Okay,  but how is this a FEDERAL issue?  It's not.  This should be taken up with local or state money.  Oops!  Average Joe in Michigan is stuck with incompetent life long politicians running the city and state.  As a side note,  Detroit does not look any brighter or better with the almost million dollars spent on the city's behalf.   It looks grayer and ghostly.
From the land of the Fruits and Nuts, and another state whose finances are so bad that a life preserver won't even save them, is an example of how stupid people can be when given lots of money.  Representative Howard Berman (D-California) has secured for his constituents, Providence Holy Cross Foundation, $200, 000 for their tattoo removal violence prevention program in Mission Hills.  What does this mean?  Seriously,  does this program help those who have gotten a tattoo under violent circumstances?  What do these people say when applying to get their tattoo removed?  "It was horrible.  Three guys strapped me down, smacked me till I was senseless and then when I woke up I had a butterfly tramp stamp! Please help me get it removed It's getting hard to explain to girls that a tramp stamp is manly!"  Is there a way to come up with an argument for this spending.  Actually no,  it defies all logic.    What is truly sad is just when you think Boxer and Pelosi have been in sun way too long, someone else comes along and proves that there is always someone more brain dead by the California sun.
Out of the Omnibus Appropriations Act,  Rep Rahm Emanuel (D-Illinois)  and Rep Jan Schakowsky (D-Illinois) were able to secure $95,500 for the Kohl Children's Museum where children could be entertained by such exhibits as  "doll day care, face paint and a discovery maze. This almost makes one think that Emanuel has a heart and really is a warm, lovable guy.  Not really, since this is the same schmuck who says that the best way to get what you want is to get it during a crisis.  Putting this aside, one has to ask some really tough questions regarding this project. Just a thought,  but how does this provide jobs for the city of Chicago?  Why is this a concern for the Federal Government?  And last but not least,  since the deceased adults get to vote in Chicago's election, do their deceased children get to go the museum to enjoy the exhibits too?  Of course, the last question is stupid and absurd. However, to liberals anything goes and so why not ask the insane question.
Let's not just pick on the Democrats, because as voters well know, Republicans are also known to do stupid things  Quick example, Senate Appropriator Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska) spent $238,000 for the Alaska PTA in Anchorage to educate parents in their roles and responsibilities under the No Child Left Behind Act.  Average Joe of Alaska could be convinced that Senator Murkowski is just supporting President Bush's agenda.   Sort of like killing two birds with one stone.  She makes constituents happy and the Republicans think they have a party loyalist.  However,  why are Alaskan parents so incompetent that they do not know what role they play in their children's education?  Better yet,  why is the Senator neglecting to reach out to home school parents, private school parents and charter school parents?  Better yet,  why is the Senator spending so much money to interfere in how parents raise their children?  That seems to be real question.  Any takers on answering these questions?
This is just a brief list of some of the ways that the One Big Government has been spending and greedily asking for more money from the taxpayers.  It is enough to make Average Joe lay awake at night worrying about what will show up in 2010 Pig Book.  Lots more of the same to be sure.   America is slowly becoming the land of no opportunities.  It is not Corporate Greed that should be to blame for the current state of affairs.  The blame rests on the government.  What is the solution?  Write to the President, your congressman, your senators and whoever else will listen to remind them that as a taxpayer, a voter,  and a citizens of the United States,  you are their boss and they must take the actions that you want.  Stop the insane spending.  Stop government greed.  Stop the attack on the American economy.    As for the media,  let them know your opinions too.  They must be reminded that if America businesses fail, so do they!  Their existence depends on a healthy economy.  Their existence relies on the Big C's whether they like it or not.

What Michael Jackson's Death Tells Us About America.

Yesterday, Michael Jackson was everywhere.  On TV, on the radio, the internet, and newspapers.  There was no escaping from the circus the media were calling a memorial.  It was the most disgraceful, tacky and moronic display of public worship that has ever been witnessed in our lifetime.  This past week, Rep King lambasted the media for it's non-stop coverage of Michael Jackson's death.  His observations about the whole circus deserves our attention because it does begs an answer to a very serious question:  What does this circus of a funeral, for a dysfunctional middle-aged pop star say about the American people?
Like all Hollywood stars that come to a tragic end,  Jacko goes out in a veil of mystery.   Leaving behind those who knew and loved him,  those who hung on to him because he was their gravy train and the rest who enjoyed his entertainment and savored every gossip story about his life. And what a life he had!  From finding fame at a young age, where he was forced to give up his childhood.  Recapturing fame a  as a man in his twenties with dance moves and songs that thrilled audiences around the world.  When Jacko's fame began to wan a little, his very private life became very public. Eyebrows were raised when Jacko admitted to sleeping with the children who visited him at his Ranch.  When the allegations came out that he had molested a boy, there were news conferences and a giant pay out to the boy's family to keep quiet.  It is not surprising that Jacko was able to use his fame to keep him from above the law.   Finally,  when he dies at the young age of 50, it becomes apparent this is the best publicity he has had in a long time.  Granted it was his final publicity stunt. However,  It was effective.  Suddenly  the country had amnesia and forgot the strange and criminal behaviors of this megatar.   Michael Jackson goes out like the saint he never was in life.
The display of emotions from Hollywood, Washington D.C. and every town in between is appalling. One begins to wonder if there is any intelligent life on earth who will boldly stand up to point to the absurdity of this circus.  Is the war in Afghanistan important?  Should Obama's performance in Russia be our concern?  Why should the American public worry about these things when members of Congress don't even concern themselves with the issues of our times.  A moment of silence for Jacko and a Resolutions in his honor.  The voters asked for this nonsense.  We are dearly paying for it now because it has effected our future.  Americans have become nothing more than drones who wake up, go to work, come home and sit before the television set for hours, while the media fills the minds with useless information.  It is sad to see a great country become lazy and complacent.  This is what Jacko's death says about our nation.  One last question to ponder, but should not be too hard to answer: Has Jacko's death really changed our daily lives?   If the average Joe is too busy with other frivolous things to think about,  like where is Jacko's gold casket.  He can flip on the TV tonight and find the answer.  Yes Jacko's death will impact all our lives.  Why?  Because the Media said so!

Why now?

Something disturbing is happening out there in the media and the Internet.  All of a sudden, new discoveries are uncovered by the press about Obama.  First it was about the tape that the L.A. Times won't release because they like Obama.  What other  reason could there be for holding onto the tape?  It is certainly not because he showed his true conservative colors!  It was first mentioned a few years ago, but only now has someone said "Wait a minute, didn't Obama speak at a farewell event for Rashid Khalidi, you know the guy who once played an important role in the PLO.  I think is was a while back, oh yeah, like 2003".  This is important information.  So important that when Khalidi was tracked down in New York,  he didn't have anything to say.  Where was this information two years ago?  Why didn't the media say something sooner?  To be honest they didn't want to mention it at all because it would prove the  point made by Obama's critics that he has questionable ties to radical terrorists.  Back to our main question, why didn't this come out sooner?  Answer:  If they leak it out one week before the election, then they can not be blamed for not saying anything.  It's not their fault that this has just come to the light.  The second benefit and perhaps, the most important,  it demoralizes the conservative base.
Another example is Barack's sweet little Auntie who happens to live in the United States.  In the slums of Boston to be precise.  This story broke a little more than two weeks ago.  Again,  the media who will go through garbages and dumpsters in Alaska.  Track down Joe  the Plumber to see if he has any "marks" on his record.  Stick to outlandish accusations about  the McCain/Palin rallies.  Yet they will not investigate the man himself.  It seems that someone should have advised Barack to take care of  his own poor family before pontificating on how everyone should be willing to spread their wealth,   I am sure that he has plenty of room in his  Chicago mansion for Auntie and brother to stay.  However, there would have been a problem with "legal" status.  It seems that Auntie is one of the many illegal aliens living in America.  Another little bit that was just recently uncovered.  Why now?  Answer:   It's called the media covering their backside.   The media's lame excuse will be that they did discuss this a week or two before the election when everyone was too busy getting in line for early voting.  Shouldn't  that count for something?
Last but not least.  There are  many children who do not like coal on Christmas Eve.  Obama must have gotten many lumps as a child.  Only recently an interview has been uncovered where his graceful Messiah has stated that he wants to bankrupt the coal industry.  This is an eye opener if there ever was one.  A major industry, which states like West Virginia, count on for economic stability will fail because an Obama Administration would bankrupt them by charging them a huge sum (also known as a TAX), for the greenhouse effects, which will bankrupt the industry. San Francisco Gate, like their peers at the L A Times, refused to bring this to light.  To be fair they haven't been sitting on this for  a long time.  Only since January of 2008.   Why now?  It was two days before the election and no one was looking.  What the heck!  Fill in some spots on the paper and the net where no one would notice.   When Obama becomes President, he will give us all the topics we need to inform the public.  He might even write it for us!
It is a sad day in America when the media, who claim to want to get to the truth, willing participates in the fraudulent presidential campaign.  If Obama wins, and this country is given a dose of "Change we don't need",  I wonder what will the press do?  Will they follow Obama into the abyss of socialism?  Or will they wake up and realize that they have been fooled?  Sadly, the press will follow  Obama into the abyss.  As a nation, we have been sliding into socialism for years.  One government social program after another has kept the big cats in Washington fatter and the taxpayers  leaner.  Should Obama become president, the slid will shift gears into overdrive and there will be no turning back.   Why now?  There is a growing sense of dependency in America.  The generations of parents  who taught their children the value of hard work has given way to a new generation who is looking for the easy handouts.  Laziness has always equalled enslavement to another person's agenda.  On November 4th,  let's hope that the "give me " generation stays home and the  "get up and go " generation march to the polls.  Even if these news items come out at a late date,  there is still the opportunity to turn the slow slide into socialism into a screeching halt.
