Time To Make It Scary for Democrats

It's Halloween, perhaps the most scariest night of  the year.  This year the normal things that go bump in the night won't scare most trick or treaters After all,  when the most liberal administration in United States history has begun to reshape America brick by brick,  what could be scarier than that?  On a side note, let's pray nothing ever happens to Obama,  things will get scarier with a President Biden.  The thought is enough to send chills up and down one's spine.   Come to think of it,  it has been like a bad Halloween movie for Michiganders for the past eight years.  No, not due to Bush's incompetence,  rather  Granholm's  costume "Blond Barbie  Goes to Lansing pant suit" as Michigan Governor.   Enough about Michigan's incompetent Governor.  The real issue here is how to put a stake in all liberal's heart by putting a stop to the socialist programs that will ruin America.

Not to get giddy or over excited about the recent trends in polling, but it looks as though the conservative movement has finally caught some momentum.  The Tea Parties were successful in energizing the public with information on what could be done to stop the Administration for taking over the health care industries.  Talk radio and Fox News have never been more popular as they are now and the Internet is turning into a powerful engine to provide information directly to the people, bypassing the media, the White House and Congress.  The true losers of the Information Age are liberals and their agenda.  The winners are conservatives who longed for information that was factual, reliable and useful.   MSNBC, CNN and their cronies will never understand how their base is shrinking.   Viewers have found that they can no longer trust the news anchors of today,  they just don't make journalists like Walter Cronkite anymore.  (As a side note,  it can be debated that Cronkite was liberal.  However, it is fair to say that he kept his opinions out of the news reports to the point where viewers at least felt they could trust him.)   As stated earlier,   conservatives should not become giddy over this turn in American history.  It is much too early in the "game" to declare a victory.  This next year will be the test as to how strong the resolve is for Conservatives to win the battle.

Looking at the slate of new bills, programs and taxes the liberals are proposing in Washington D.C. is mind boggling.  It is an amazing thing to watch the Democrats come up with new ways of taxing middle class citizens.  In every bill proposed, whether it deals with health care, cap and trade,  national security, or  climate control, there is a huge bill attached with the tax payer's name on it.   At a time when the economy is in the tank,  liberals are scrambling for ways of  increasing taxes to pay for their wonderful  everyone is equal in Obama eyes' legislation.  Not one of these programs will do anything to boost the economy.  Not one of them will give a laid off GM employee back their job.  Not one of them will make America a better place.  However, we will all be the poorer for them.   Don't lose sight of the goal:  Kick liberals out of Congress and get America back on the right track of financial success.   There will be several key elections to watch this Tuesday which may be the beginning of  sending the old guard packing.  Obama's team are worried, as they should be.

Win or lose on Tuesday,  conservatives should be on their toes.  With the scare that the White House is getting in Virginia, New Jersey and New York,  it is without a doubt that efforts will be doubled to pass legislation before the bigger elections in 2010.  The RNC had better begin to listen for conservative voices and follow them.  American politics has always been a two party system, and it will remain that way.  The only change that may be on the horizon,  is that the Republican party as it stands now, will either have to change their strategy to reflect conservative values or be pushed in with the Democrats while conservatives of the party reform the RNC into a new political group.  For proof of this,  look at the New York Congressional race with Doug Hoffman, a conservative who pushed out the RNC backed Scozzafava days before the election.    Michael Steele,  are you listening?  Are you watching?  Will you be bold enough to stand for conservative principals?

The new mantra for the Conservative politicians and candidates should be 'CUT AND CREATE."   That is to say cut taxes and create opportunites for job growth.  It is as simple as two plus two equals four.  For liberals it is all about fuzzy math.  For conservatives it is all about what is the real outcome.  For example,  the administration must be drinking more than kool aid when they come out on Friday to say that all is well with the economy and to prove it, the Administration has saved 650,000 jobs.  Seriously,  with unemployment at 9.8 %, which equals to millions being out of work,  Obama wants voters to believe he has saved jobs.  For families who have lost their income,  it is doubtful that this news is comforting.  For those who have intelligence to read between the lines of this latest spin,  this is insulting.  Why hasn't anyone in the media asked the all important question: So you saved jobs.   What will you do besides extend unemployment benefits to get America working again?  Don't ask the government, they never have good ideas.   Novel idea:  cut taxes to businesses to spur job creation.

It's time to become aggressive against liberals and their agenda.  In 1994,  the Republicans stood up to Clinton and won.  Time to do it again,  with a different twist.  This time,  it is important to not only to win but dominate the political field.  Never surrender.   Never back down.  Most importantly, never ever let liberals win.

Will They Listen?

The Republican and Democrat leaders are being handed a heavy lesson these days from their constituents.  It has been awhile since there  has been a loud outcry from the public against the government.  Sure every once in a while there would be stories of protest but most Americans sat in their living rooms, turned on Dan Rather and watched what was going on in the world.  The news of the day was just that,  news.  As long as the economy was going along at a steady pace,  people had jobs and children were going to school to learn the basics of english, math and science,  all was well.  However,  things have changed drastically these days.  The news of  the day now hits home harder than before and people are beginning to wake up. It's quite a rude awakening, too.
In fairytales,  it has always been known that the hero of the story must never wake a sleeping giant.   That can be hazardous to one's plans.   Apparently,  Obama, Reid and Pelosi, have forgotten that important tidbit of information.  While using thug tactics to move their agenda, they have not  angered some of their own party members. (In my humble opinion,  there are way too few in Congress who are becoming angry at the White House.)  The cause of their anger is not  Obama Administrations plan to change America to a socialist country.  It has more to do with the sleeping giant.  Their constituents are angry, scared and vocal.  Their constituents have begun to call, email, write and in every way conveyed that their congressperson's vote should reflect the needs and concerns of their district.  Where once these same congressman had the luxury of making a few appearances here and there to make the voters happy,  now these same voters not only want to see their congressman and ask questions.  They also are demanding that the people's voice be heard and respected.    The carefree days of legislating with liberal agendas which contradicts the voter's desires are over.
This lesson is not only aimed at Democrats,  it is for moderate Republicans too.  At a point in history, when voters are so fed up with lies, corruption and wasteful spending,  the Republican party,  which historically has represented the conservative views, should be ready to take over the helm of  the Government again.  Sadly, they are not. It seems as if the lesson of McCain/Palin campaign have taught the Republican nothing.  In key races across the country, the Republican party insists on using the "Moderate" game plan hoping that this will be the time it actually works.  President of the RNC,  Michael Steele,  former football player turned politician,  should know better than most in his party.  When a team keeps losing  game after game,  it's time to draft a new game plan.  The "Moderate" game plan is not working. It's time to get the clipboard out to draft a new plan.
What has worked in the past, and it is surprising that Newt Gingrinch has forgotten this key element,  are solid conservative values.  Remember the Contract with America?  This tool was effective for many reasons, but the three that comes to mind are cutting taxes,  smaller government and recognizing the "natural" partnership between congress and voters. By  listening to their constituents, and fulfilling their promise to work for American interests instead of against them Republicans won the debates of the day and the votes. Unfortunately, like some teams,  with a huge victory came satisfaction that they finally won a mid-term election.  Any coach will tell  you the best thing to do after a win,  celebrate  however, prepare  for the next win.  The Republicans dropped the ball  since 1994.  If the Republicans want to win again,  they  have to dust off the conservative playbook.
Obama's presidency, could be a blessing in disguise.  His radical agenda is exposed daily on talk radio, the internet and on Fox News.  The fight over healthcare,  energy, taxes and bailouts have caused Americas who normally just  go about their daily routine, to stop and take notice.  How can they not? Most of them who had a daily  routine have now had it  disrupted by job losses.  Those who still have their daily routine, are wondering will they be next to lose their security?    Obama has been nothing about hope and everything about fear.   Fear that the government is controlling every aspect of our lives,  fear that new programs will tax the middle class out of existence, and fear that America will not be able to recover from policies that are dismantling the foundation of this great country,  freedom and capitalism.  Fear can also be a great motivator.
The old phrase,  "now is the time for all great men to come to the aid of their country", should reflect the mood of the majority of today's voters.  It should  read,  "now is the time for all great conservative men to come to the aid of their country before it is too late."  If both political parties insist on pushing agendas that are moderate and liberal than they have given the voters no other choice than to look outside the two party system.  The test as to whether conservatives can win will be shown next Tuesday, November 3.  Especially in key races in New York, Virginia and New Jersey.    If conservatives prove that they can get the vote out and win, will it get the attention of the Republican and Democrat leaders?  That will be the key question to be considering on November  4.
America has a rich history of telling off their leaders and replacing them when they see fit.  It began with the American Revolution.  It continues on today.  All it takes is to wake up the sleeping giant.

Seven Signs That The Liberals Don't Care and Are Not Listening

If there is any doubt that the democrats are not listening to their constituents, there is no need to look any further than the headlines in papers.  President Obama has an agenda and by hook or crook, he's going to  get it passed.  It does not matter that the voters do not want his agenda,  the President and his party, will ram it through anyways.  The Little People will have to take it and be grateful for their supreme leader.  The voices are getting louder in the United States.  These voices asking questions and demanding answers.  Truthful answers.   Unfortunately,  Washington liberals don't care and are not listening.
Seven signs of the liberals refusal to listen to voters are easy enough to spot.  They are everywhere and they are not buried deep.    The proof is the action and reaction to the public.  As the voters are starting to ask more questions about Healthcare reform,  the liberal elitists are looking shell shocked.  For them it is hard to believe that anyone would question their wisdom or intentions.  This is the opportunity that they have been waiting for and yet,  the voters are not going along with their plan.  Behind closed doors, they  scheme, draft legislation and pat themselves on the back.  A person's health is a very personal matter.  It is a matter of life and death.   Regardless of how voters feel about healthcare,  the President, the Senate and Congress are looking for ways to ram legislation through that would not only ruin healthcare in America, but would take away privacy, freedom and  health from every single American. Why is the government getting involved in the most personal aspects of  a person's life? The answer is obvious,  it's all about control.
This was to be the transparent government.  This was to be the time that all doors were open  and Americans could finally see what is truly going on in the day to day activities in Washington.  In recent memory,  there does not seem to be so many doors slammed shut in Washington.  Secret deals, exclusion of Republicans, and amendments to bills passing in the middle of the night does not seem like a Republic government.  it is more akin to communism, marxist and socialism all wrapped into one neat package. The irony to all of this is that terrorists knew more about legal wiring tapping during the Bush Administration then Americans know about what is in the Cap and Trade Bill and Healthcare reform combined.
The liberals are much to busy to worry about financial matters.  My goodness,  their plate is overflowing with pet projects which have not been dealt with in the past eight years.  Ask the average citizen what is more important to them having a job or the environment?  Common sense answer would be having a job.   The liberal answer, is saving the planet, of course.   Here is the case again,  where the government liberals steps into every home in America to make sure they have energy efficient lights. Carbon foot prints is just another way of describing humans as the monsters who destroyed earth.  It has gotten so ridiculous that one has to ask how long will be before we are all living in an Amish Paradise?
Perhaps it would be better for the liberals to think of other things besides the financial mess.  Whenever they do think of solutions for the economy,  the first words out of their mouths are TAX.   Taxes are a punishment on achievement, period.  Not all voters can be fooled that taxes raised on the rich will only effect the wealthy.  The ugly truth behind that lie is that when the "rich" are taxed, they stop contributing to the economy.  The economy becomes stagnant.  Without the wealthy buying,  investing, and  creating jobs,  everyone suffers.  In particular,  those whose income fall below the poverty line.  The principal idea behind the Tea Party Movement is  that voters are tired of being taxed at every turn.  Every new program equals a new tax.   Speaker Pelosi's response to the Tea Parties is that it is "astroturf."   Her comments represent what many liberals in congress believe.  Again, they just don't listen.
Liberals love to talk about poll numbers.   Polls are the very life that pulses through their vein.  Or at least it was during the Bush Administration.  Countless times Liberals in congress and in the media would point to the polls as if they were signs from above that he end of times were near because of President Bush's policies.  At this point,  Obama's job approval rating is below 50%, yet the liberals do not seem to be at all concerned.  This is a minor bump in the road for them.  As soon as the Average Joe gets on board with the social agenda, everything will be smooth sailing again.  Or will it?    Obama promised everything and nothing in the same breath during his presidential campaign.   The President is now finding that pretending to be a moderate while holding very liberal views will backfire on him.  Voters who liked Obama in November, still like him but are scratching their heads wondering where is  that moderate candidate that they voted for?  They have been lied too.  No one likes to be mislead.
Sorry seem to be the hardest word to express.  Except for when liberals want to apologize for the countless mistakes that America has made. Yet,  it takes Eastern European countries to remind our President and liberals of what it means to be a trusted ally.  In the matters of foreign policy the current administration has decided to walk away from arms agreement to protect the allies who need it most and kowtow to dictators who would like nothing more than to see America knocked out as a super power.  Liberals don't get the concept that to be strong militarily means that America can defend itself.  One other crucial piece of evidence that the liberals don't get America's greatness,  they refuse to see the good that America has done all over the world.  From helping Europe remain free to sending supplies and equipments to areas struck by natural disasters, America has a proud history of being there when called upon.  Why is the President apologizing for America?
At this time in American History, they have complete power in government, yet they complain that the opposition is killing their agenda.  What to do with the nasty conservative talk shows?   Silence their voices with legislation that would discourage radio stations owners from airing these programs.   Monitor and block the internet of bloggers who express opinions different from the liberal view.  The First Amendment gives every human being the right to speech.  No matter how stealth like the Administration moves on this,  there will be no way to calm the fears of the rest of Americans.  By silencing one portion of the American public,  it allows the government to take one more step towards stripping basic rights from its citizen.  It is squashing freedom at it's core.   Americans won't allow it and should not allow it to happen.  Liberals just don't get it.  The only one who are in love with listening to their rants are themselves.
Liberals are now finding that they are not as loved, popular and adored as they are in their own minds.  The problem with liberalism is that is is by it's own nature,  arrogant,  snobbish and self-serving.   They know better, are better and deserve better.  Well at least that is how they perceive the world.  If Americans every thought that a four year old could do a better job in congress than some elected officials.  Well, this is what a four year old would do in congress.  They will do whatever they want,  and not listen to a single soul about the effects it is reeking on everyone else.  Who cares?  As long as they are happy, nothing else seems to matter to them.
