It's time to set our proverbial food down and start taking action. When it becomes apparent that the Democratic party is looking at the possibility to keep their Savior as president indefinitely, this is the time to stand up and take notice. Americans can not afford to look the other way hoping that it will not happen or that someone else fights the good fight. It's time to stop the Obama Express before it goes through every US town, leaving destruction in its past.
The Sponsor of the bill H. J Resolution 5, Representative Jose E Serrano (NY-16) introduced this bill on January 6, 2009, which would in effect repeal the 22nd amendment to the Constitution. Let there be no misunderstanding where this DEMOCRAT Representative stands on the issues of our day. According to Rep. Serrano's website, which does not give any indication as to what party he is a member of, he is working tirelessly on "English Plus Resolution" legislation encouraging Americans to learn more than one language, normalize relations with Cuba, and rational, humane approach to Immigration. All in all, Jose sounds like your average liberal. True? So it should not be surprising that he would propose the repealing of the 22nd Amendment. To be fair, he is only following in the footsteps of Democrat Harry Reid who proposed this in 1989. Funny, Democrats always like to say they are for justice, and taking the power from the big powerful people and give it to the little guy. Really? So why do they want a King so bad?
There are many who will say this will never happen. The American Public just won't stand for this kind of change. This is a challenging thought because of how quickly the administration is moving on a number of important issues. There is a sense of apathy that is crippling America. There does not seem to be any indication that people are willing to fight back, because they are either waiting for someone to take up the fight or feel that is is a hopeless cause. Democrats have total control, let them do what they want. On issue after issue, the Obama Administration is bullying the private sector, such as banking, auto industry, and hospitals, into doing its bidding. Their message is simple, get on board or suffer the consequences. How could the amendment pass without the American voters approval? It would be no surprise that Obama will use his bullying tactics on the voters by instructing ACORN to be present at every voting district to use intimidation tactics. Can't happen? Notice Obama's support of political regime in other countries. He sides with Iran's election, but two weeks later states that he is appalled by Iran's response to their citizens. Why the change? Public opinion. Honduras people voted out President Jose Manuel Zeleya, who wanted to destroy the Constitution of Honduras and remain in power. Obama joins Chavez in condemning the removal of the President and calls it a coup. These two international incidents are clear indications of Obama's political philosophy and desires. The title President seems so beneath him, perhaps Supreme Ruler would be better. Our Forefathers fought so that we would not have to live under a tyrannical King, this Fourth of July and every day we can't forget that. We also can not allow anyone, Democrat, Republican or Independent, to become the First American Supreme Ruler.
